WHAT CAN YOU LEARN AND MAKE
Learn, Create, Discover Portuguese Art
Our team of artists and artisans are available for workshops for small groups and for companies interested in creating a unique and creative experiences for the clients and employees.
CREATE SUSTAINABLE ART
Using paper and glue; learn how to make beautiful mandalas, Yin Yang art and so much more to decorate your house. The workshop is by Lucinha.
ORIFU COINE-PURSE
Let's create a unique coin purse using Origami techniques (paper folding), but in fabric, hence the name Orifu.

PAPER CLAY SCULPTURES
Come and work with Laura. Let's learn how to construct organic ornamental items that resemble natural leaves and flowers found in our surroundings.
PAINT WITH WINE
The workshop begins with a wine tasting of various types/ or seasons (between 3/5 wines). You will be given a godé filled with a small amount of the wine, let intuition guide you and create a beautiful design.

Hello, welcome to Make & Take.
My name is Ana and I'm the person behind this creative community project.
​
As a child my mother would take me around Cascais and Lisbon handicraft fairs, shops, to visit local artists. I was always captivated by the artisans' work. The bug for handcrafts was planted.
​
In 2021, after more than 20 years in the United Kingdom, I relocated to the Setúbal region and established Make & Take. A group of seasoned local artisans/ artists who will devote their time and expert knowledge to give you a meaningful, therapeutic and authentic Portuguese experience: teaching you the skills, techniques and the mindset of how to make beautiful artwork that you can take home.

Our aim is promote the artistic hidden gems of Portugal, a country so culturally, creatively, and historically rich.
